🔧 File Prep & Upload
What file types work best for UV DTF?
We recommend vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) or high-resolution PNGs with transparent backgrounds. Minimum 300 DPI at print size for best results.
Can I include gradients or fine details?
Yes, UV DTF handles gradients and fine line work very well, but extremely small details may not transfer cleanly onto curved surfaces.

How do I apply UV DTF decals?
Peel the backing film, position the decal, press it down firmly with a squeegee or roller, then peel the top film away slowly at a sharp angle.
Do I need heat or special equipment?
No heat press required — UV DTF is a cold application process. Just pressure, clean surfaces, and patience.

What items can I apply UV DTF to?
They adhere to smooth, hard surfaces like glass, plastic, stainless steel, wood (sealed), ceramics, and more.
Will it work on fabrics?
No — UV DTF is not designed for textiles. For apparel, stick with DTF or sublimation.
💧 Durability & Care
Are UV DTF transfers dishwasher safe?
Yes, but for longest life we recommend gentle hand washing. Harsh dishwasher cycles may shorten the lifespan.
Will it fade outdoors?
UV DTF inks are resistant to fading, but for maximum longevity outdoors (direct sun/rain), a clear coat can be applied over the decal.

What sizes are available?
UV DTF transfers are offered in gang sheets from 22x12 up to 22x360, just like our DTF sheets.
Can I order custom shapes?
No — UV DTF prints are provided as full gang sheets. We do not contour cut individual decals. You can fill your sheet with any shapes you like, but trimming is up to you after printing.
