What customers say

Frequently Asked Questions

🔧 File Prep & Upload
What file types work best for sublimation?

High-resolution PNGs (300 DPI) with transparent backgrounds work best. Vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) are also excellent for clean results.

Can I sublimate white ink or very light colors?

No — sublimation does not print white. Any white areas in your file will show as the base color of the blank (usually white polyester). Light, subtle colors may not appear well on darker blanks.

🧴 Application
How do I apply sublimation transfers?

Use a heat press with firm pressure, typically 385–400°F for 45–60 seconds. Exact time and temp vary by substrate, so always check your blank’s instructions.

Do I need special equipment?

Yes — sublimation requires a heat press and blanks that are either 100% polyester or coated for sublimation. A standard home iron will not work.

🥤 Compatible Surfaces
What materials can I sublimate on?

Sublimation works only on polyester fabrics or specially coated hard goods (mugs, tumblers, keychains, etc.). It does not work on cotton or uncoated surfaces.

Can I sublimate on dark colors?

No — sublimation requires white or very light-colored substrates. Dark items will not show the print correctly.

💧 Durability & Care
Does sublimation change the feel of the fabric?

No — sublimation dye bonds into the fibers, leaving zero hand feel. The fabric remains as soft and breathable as before printing.

Will the design fade or peel?

No — because the ink becomes part of the substrate, sublimation designs will not crack or peel. Over time, some fading may occur with repeated washing or direct sun exposure.

📦 Orders & Sizing
What sizes of sublimation transfers are available?

We offer sublimation gang sheets from 22x12 up to 22x360, just like our DTF and UV DTF options.

Can I order custom sheet layouts?

Yes — you can gang multiple designs on one sheet. Simply arrange your artwork before uploading to maximize your space.
